SCULPTING THE FINISHING TOUCH...

A new dimension in conservatories is being created at Aztec Conservatory Roof Systems with the development of a new option in interior finish.

Consumers are becoming increasingly discerning and style conscious, thereby demanding subtle detailing that enhances the overall ambience of their home- including the conservatory. In response, Aztec has developed a contemporary-styled decorative fascia cladding that not only adds a further dimension to the conservatory interior, but softens the traditionally hard lines of flat beading and cladding.

The facia features a contoured, convex centre panel and a bevelled edge, giving an extra dimension compared to the conventional, hitherto flat cladding finish. The trim securely clips into the ring beam, with no risk of movement top or bottom, nor of the fascia being distorted by casements below that are out of alignment. The detailing is available in white, and to further enhance the interior styling, a choice of dark woodgrain, light oak and rosewood.

Colin Bennett, Aztec sales director, observes, “The trend in windows is towards sculpted trim; it is logical to extend that to the conservatory roof. It gives the home-owner a feeling of harmony throughout the conservatory, even though the windows and roof system originate from different manufacturers, and the retailer an ‘added value’ sales opportunity! As usual, we have applied our ethos of designing a component to be as simple as possible and engineer out any issues that exist within the marketplace.
